My love for fitness stems back to high school in Muncie, Indiana where I was on the gymnastics team. Flexibility came easy for me and I am so happy to be able to use this now in my daily yoga practice. While raising my children I decided to become a personal trainer so that I could have flexible work hours and help people stay fit. I have been training clients in my home gym since 1999 and was introduced to yoga in 2008. I happily signed up for a 200 hour teacher training at a friend's yoga studio and since then, I have been teaching yoga classes in my home gym as well as a few studios in the Indianapolis area. I embrace the Vinyasa Yoga practice in most of my classes, but also enjoy teaching a Yoga Basics class once a week at the YMCA. I enjoy guiding my classes so that everyone can learn focus and discipline, along with relaxation of mind and body.
