Veterans Day is Wednesday, Nov. 11. Parades, ceremonies and other observances will be held in communities around the state.
But businesses will also be showing their support for military men and women with free meals and discounts.

Bel Air Armory - Free meal to all first responders from 2-5 p.m. Nov. 11
Fire, Police and EMTs are welcome to come to the Bel Air Armory for a “Drive-Through” meal. Pick up baked goods or a meal. CNEMinistry is sponsoring the event to show thanks for those who help the community in times of need.
California Pizza Kitchen, Nov. 11
Choose a pizza, full size salad or pasta from the special Veterans Day Menu. Dine-in only. Please come in uniform or bring your military I.D. or other proof of service.
Carraba’s, Monday Nov. 9-Sunday, Nov. 15
Free appetizer of your choice for active duty service members and veterans. Military ID or proof of service required.
Chili’s – Free meal, Nov. 11
Chili’s is offering all military veterans past and present their choice of any lunch combo, or your choice of a dinner meal from a select menu. Beverages and gratuity not included. Veterans and active duty military must show proof of military service.
Denny’s, Nov. 11
Free Build Your Own Grand Slam on Nov. 11, from 5 a.m. to noon for all active, inactive and retired military personnel. Participating locations only. Please call ahead.
The Greene Turtle, Nov. 11
Free meal from a select menu for veterans and service members with military identification at participating locations. Limited edition, commemorative long-sleeve Greene Turtle t-shirts will also be available to all guests for purchase for $15, while supplies last, and 100 percent of sales from the t-shirts will be donated to the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
Golden Corral – Free meal, Nov. 11, 5-9 p.m.
The 15th annual Golden Corral Military Appreciation dinner will is available to any person who has ever served in the United States Military. If you are a veteran, retired, currently serving, in the National Guard or Reserves, you are invited to participate in Golden Corral’s Military Appreciation dinner.
Little Caesars Pizza, Nov. 11
Free pizza or $5 HOT-N-READY Lunch Combo to all US Armed Forces veterans and active military members between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. With proof of military service, at participating stores nationwide. Call ahead to verify participation.

Veterans will receive 50 percent off their bill, and there will be raffles with the chance to win Looney’s swag throughout the day.
